Pech de Gary - one-bedroom g/floor apartment with pool
Situated on the “pech” (hillside) above Castanet, surrounded by fields and lovely views, Pech de Gary is a self-contained, one-bedroom apartment set within a 19th century converted farmhouse with 12 x 4m pool.
It is ideally suited to a couple (or couple with one or two children), looking for good quality, affordable accommodation in this lovely, unspoiled part of France. The apartment can also cater for the occasional visitor by virtue of its sofa bed in the lounge.
Pech de Gary is situated in 5 acres of gardens, orchard, fields and woods, and provides total seclusion, privacy and tranquillity. The neighbours are over 200 metres away in one direction, and 750metres in the other!
There's plenty of space for sunbathing, along with shady areas for relaxing with a book. Guests also have full use of the 12 x 4m, decked and alarmed pool, which receives abundant sunshine throughout the day. Sun loungers and poolside chairs are provided.
Robin, the French-speaking British owner lives in the main house and is happy to provide help if required but otherwise understands and respects guests’ need for privacy.
