2007 sees the old band back together again

Back in 2005, Dave Lyons and Ian were watching a band and in a drunken moment decided it was high time to re-form with Dave Pidgeon.  Originally called Chiaroscuro in the 1980's, a new name was required after a gap of 25 years - hence HELICOPTER was born.

To date, our gigs have been:

• 1st May 2007 - The Chequers, Wrestlingworth,
• 12th May 2007 - The Cricketers, Weston,
• 9th June 2007 - Combined 40th/50th birthday party,
• 27th Oct 2007 - Halloween party, Weston village hall
• 1st Dec 2007 - Baker Arms, Bayford
• 29th Dec 2007 - Charity fundraiser
• 7th March 2008 - Red Lion, Weston

Next gig - 15th June 2008 - Bayford Gardens Day (Red Cross)

European tour expected about 2009!

Meanwhile, based in the Herts/Beds area and guaranteed to get any pub or party going, we play an ever-growing selection of classic and modern rock/pop songs.

The band consists of:

• Sikorsky Pidge (aka Dave Pidgeon) - vocals
• Black Hawk Dave (aka Dave Lyons) - bass and backing keyboards
• Wild Westland Wallace (aka Ian Wallace) - guitar and backing drums
• Chinook (aka Gwen Pidgeon) - backing vocals
• Management by Apache Pauline!
