By air
Le Bourg is a comfortable 1.5 hour drive from Toulouse airport or 1 hour from Rodez.
Les Bazandes at Cordes sur Ciel is approximately 1.25 hour’s drive from both Toulouse and Rodez airports.
Car hire facilities are available at all airports.
Bergerac and Carcassonne are also possibilities but around 2 - 2.5 hours drive away.
Airlines include:
- Ryan Air daily from Stansted to Rodez,
- Easyjet and British Airways from Gatwick to Toulouse,
- Jet2.com from Leeds/Bradford to Toulouse.

By road
Both our houses are an easy 10 hour drive from Calais via the A20, with autoroute practically all the way. You can either come down via Paris or via Boulogne and the A16 to Amiens.

By rail
If you wish to avoid flying or a long drive, think about putting the car on the train at Calais and travelling to Brive or Toulouse.
Alternatively, take the TGV train from Lille or Paris to Montauban and pre-arrange car hire from the station with, say, Avis.
Note that car hire is usually very good value in France and Montauban is only about 40 minutes away to the west.
